If you have been searching for TMS therapy near me in Concord because antidepressants and talk therapy have not delivered the relief you need, NeuroStar® Advanced Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy offers an FDA-cleared, non-drug path forward. At our Concord clinic on Le Phillip Court, focused magnetic pulses gently stimulate the areas of the brain that regulate mood, without the systemic side effects of medication.

NeuroStar TMS Therapy is FDA-cleared for major depressive disorder, treatment-resistant depression, adolescent depression (ages 15 to 21), and as an adjunctive treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Most major insurance providers cover NeuroStar TMS, making it an accessible option for patients across Cabarrus County and the greater Concord area.

Our Concord team is here to help. Call today to find out if NeuroStar TMS Therapy in Concord, NC is right for you.

What is NeuroStar TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)?

NeuroStar TMS Therapy is FDA-cleared for adults and adolescents with treatment-resistant depression who have not responded to medications. It is also FDA-cleared as an adjunctive treatment for OCD, and many patients report meaningful improvement in anxiety symptoms during their TMS course.

The treatment delivers targeted magnetic pulses, similar to those used in MRI technology, to areas of the brain that control mood and emotional health. By reactivating these neural pathways, NeuroStar advanced therapy can reduce symptoms and stabilize mood over the long term.

For patients in Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Mount Pleasant and the surrounding Cabarrus County area, NeuroStar Advanced TMS Therapy has delivered lasting relief and, in many cases, full remission without the side effects of antidepressant medications.

What Our Patients Say

Charlotte is so blessed to have an office like yours, providing a service of love. Thank you for brightening up my smile in the world.

-Theresa

I have had severe, treatment-resistant depression for over 20 years. I have tried everything, including electric shock therapy. TMS is a miracle!! It has changed my life!! The staff at TMS of the Carolinas is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I would highly recommend this treatment site and this office for anyone suffering from depression.

– Julie H

TMS of the Carolinas is a very special place. The people are great, and TMS is the most effective depression treatment I have ever encountered. It beats the depression meds I have taken hands down! The TMS process is cutting-edge, but the science behind it is decades old.

Most people who have NeuroStar® TMS Therapy say it’s not painful. The sensation most people describe is a gentle tapping or tingling on the scalp which usually goes away after the first few sessions.

Since TMS treatment works locally and not systemically it doesn’t enter the bloodstream and therefore avoids many of the side effects of antidepressant medications such as weight gain, sexual dysfunction, fatigue, nausea or dry mouth.

We offer NeuroStar® Advanced TMS Therapy at our clinics in Charlotte, Raleigh and Concord so care is available to patients across the Carolinas.
