TMS of the Carolinas, LLC was founded in 2020 by Terry & Donna Wise.

TMS of the Carolinas was formed because we recognized that behavioral therapy and medications were not resolving the problem of severe depression. As the Co-Founders of Genesis A New Beginning Counseling Services, we have seen the significant increase of depression and anxiety. These issues have dramatically increased with the onset of COVID. This realization led us to seek alternative treatment options for Major Depression. This search ended when we were introduced to the NeuroStar Advanced Therapy system, the #1 TMS choice for doctors nationally!

Terry & Donna Wise

Co-Founders 

We have been fortunate to celebrate 40 years’ experience as  business owners. Within those 40 years, 22 of them have been devoted as co-founders of mental health clinics in North Carolina. In 2020 we launched TMS of the Carolinas and now have multiple locations. It is difficult to find the words that accurately describe watching countless numbers of lives being transformed through our mental health clinics. We are blessed to be in a position to own and manage companies that have the technology and teams of dedicated members that are committed to helping others. We have been married for 45 years and have 2 children, 6 grandchildren and Millie, our Wheaten Terrier.

Martin Meyer

Business Partner Raleigh Office

Martin has joined the TMS of the Carolinas team as a business partner in the Raleigh office. Martin brings a history of business management in addition to a passion for helping others become healthier in every aspect of their lives. Donna and I are excited Martin has joined this team and we are confident TMS of the Carolinas – Raleigh – will be leading the effort to impact lives throughout the Raleigh Metro area.

Philip Nofal, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Nofal is a leading psychiatrist in the region and has been serving professionally for 30 years with a focus on adult and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Nofal brings over 3 decades of caring psychiatric experience and oversight to TMS of the Carolinas as a psychiatrist and Medical Director.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Terry Haggard, RN, MSN, FNP-BC is a Nurse Practitioner for TMS of the Carolinas. She is a graduate of the University of Chapel Hill School of Medicine and she brings her vast experience as a Nurse Practitioner to TMS of the Carolinas. We are excited to have Terry on the medical team at TMS of the Carolinas.

Welcome! I’m Kelli Enos, the Office and Billing Manager here. My role is to ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so our patients can focus on their care—not the paperwork. With a background in both Business and Nursing and over 45 years of experience, I’m committed to making your experience with us seamless, efficient, and stress-free.  Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and staying active through swimming. I’m also a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, bringing a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and service to everything I do.

Joshua Fletcher

TMS Coordinator

I am Joshua Fletcher the TMS Coordinator at TMS of the Carolinas.  My role is to coordinate care for our patients through a free consultation. I meet with each patient, answer questions about TMS, gather information for the doctor and for prior authorization, and secure insurance coverage for our patients.  I am a happily married husband of 25 years, father of three, pastor, and published author. A fluent Spanish speaker and seasoned teacher, I hold advanced degrees in divinity and spiritual formation.  I have served others in ministry for over two decades.

I have been married to my best friend for 3 years and serving others is my passion! I am the Senior Lead TMS treatment technician for TMS of the Carolinas. Suzanne has received Technician Certification from NeuroStar Advanced Therapy. I love to be a part of helping people find balance and better mental health. It’s very rewarding to see people regain life. I have been doing this for almost 5years. I grew up in New Hampshire where I met Todd, my husband in college. I’ve been married to Todd who is a Chef for 40 years and we have 4 children and 5 grands. I have a strong faith and believe that I was made to be an encourager.

Francis joined TMS of the Carolinas as a technician in 2023. Francis has received Technician Certification from NeuroStar Advanced Therapy. She is a dedicated technician who loves every patient. And the patients love “Ms. Francis” as they affectionally call her.

Raleigh Office Manager & Lead Technician

Kim Miner manages our Raleigh office at TMS of the Carolinas and also serves as the lead TMS Treater at this location.  Kim has received Technician Certification from NeuroStar Advanced Therapy. We launched the Raleigh TMSC office in September of 2024 and it has been a true joy to see people’s lives transformed through the TMS journey.
Having a strong family history and focus on service, my passion is to help others along life’s path. Over my career, I spent 20 years working in pharmaceutical R&D, regulatory, clinical and commercial operations. While it brought a sense of satisfaction, my discovery of TMS therapy was a game-changer in the mental health arena. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve patients and their families in this capacity.

Catherine (Cat) Enos

My name is Cat and I am a TMS Technician for TMS of the Carolinas. Cat has received Technician Certification from NeuroStar Advanced Therapy.  I have a passion for mental health advocacy and helping people in anyway I can. I love good coffee, books, and art in most any form.

Technician

I am a trained and certified TMS NeuroStar treater. I have been the wife to Eric for over 30 years. I have also been the homeschooling mom to 4 daughters and 1 son for the past 25 years. I am about to graduate and launch my youngest in 9 months. I was prayerfully considering what this season would bring when I learned that TMS of the Carolinas Raleigh needed another person qualified to treat patients. Having had a biology and nursing care background, as well as being a person who has always been other focused; finding joy and meaning in helping others this seemed like an ideal opportunity for my first foray back into the workforce. I was trained first as a nurses aid then as a nurse in rehabilitation hospital care before having a family. Today I have found that treating patients with TMS therapy is very much like physical rehab in that there is a consistent effort, commitment and measurable improvement in patient health and function. I have found it so rewarding as a person who was called and trained to serve others who need and want to get their function of daily living back.
